Ecuador Adventure Tours

Discover the magical and mysterious world of the Amazon rain forest

Aguarico
Degre of Diffilculty: C

Our tours offer a unique combination between natural and ethnic diversity of this region (with indigenous guides). Troops of parrots fly over our heads, orchids and other beautiful flowers will give the overwhelming green of the tropical rainforest. Indian children play on the shore of the river and wave at the visitors. The bird’s species are also numerous: oropendolas, hummingbirds, herons, parrots and many more. We hope you will share our enthusiasm.

To discover the remote areas of the Amazon, will undoubtly become an unforgettable experience! This wilderness is the home of many animals and plants. There are many different species of palms, orchids, sloths, tapirs, anacondas and river dolphins.

Our tour-program offers a broad spectrum of jungle trips. On the one hand you can spend the night in lodges, with all comfort of those stays; on the other hand you can spend the night in double tents, with a little less comfort. In both cases we take care of the necessary organisation and we will place bilingual guides to your disposal. This guide will be with you all the time and is supported by an Indio guide, who was born in the jungle. 12 people per group are the maximum for this tour.

Aguarico trekking - 8 Days
AguaricoDepartures: Up on request

We will organize this fascinating adventure together with the Indians´ society of the Cofanes, who are settled on the upper region of the Amazonas. We will leave 90 km behind us, in which we set up 5 camps where we will spend the night. Our guides are indigenous people, who have a remarkable knowledge about the rainforest. They can decipher animal’s footprints and know the places where these animals preferably stay.
Not only is the natural life on the foreground on this tour, also the cultural experience that will be revealed to you by the guide, who is also a translator. This program will be organised with a minimum of five and a maximum of 12 people. This guarantees an adequate and high-quality service for you.
